New Kalala Camp replaces its original setting with an exceptional new site perched on the cliff top above the tranquil waters of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi. This Zambia game lodge in Kafue National Park provides welcome comforts in a very rugged wilderness area.
New Kalala Camp has a history of over twenty years from the old camp to its present form. The original Kalala was overtaken by increasing water levels but has now been moved to a great position in mountainous, rocky terrain. This Zambia game lodge in Kafue National Park enjoys a strategic location for viewing spectacular sunsets.
Kafue National Park is known to host the largest populations of mammal diversity in the world. Kafue is one of the few locations in Zambia where Cheetah post a permanent residence. The presence of rare antelope species of Royal Eland, Sable and Roan in Kafue has sparked great interest in this area.
New Kalala Camp is designed to create the perfect getaway for those in search of an escape from the city or adventurers and travellers looking for a different slice of Africa. Self catering facilities are provided and the indoor / outdoor restaurant is available for all meals. Guests can also arrange half-board or full board packages.
