Back in 1866 David Livingstone passed this way and the area remains unchanged. It is teeming with big game and is exceptionally scenic. Reactions like 'Wow, this was absolutely fantastic,' are not uncommon, but it should be noted that this is not a 'soft' safari and tends to attract the adventurous visitors and seasoned safari travellers.
The area is remote and there are no roads so all safaris are conducted on foot in densely populated game areas. Highly qualified and experienced guides - Bryan Jackson and Stephen Banda - escort all the walks and enlighten guests with valuable bush knowledge. They seem to have the talent for sharing their love of the bush and are regarded as amongst the top guides in the South Luangwa Valley.
