Tangala House is situated 15km upstream from Victoria Falls and access is via the Livingstone or Victoria Falls Airport in Zambia. Victoria Falls, a natural wonder of the world, is one of the most sought after holiday destinations. The waters of Victoria Falls plunge over a rock face with a maximum drop of 330 feet (110 metres). An average of 33 000 cubic feet (935 cubic metres) falls per second.

The local Kalolo Lozi people have named the Victoria Falls Mosi-oa-Tunya, meaning 'The Smoke that Thunders' on account of the deafening roar and veil of mist that surrounds the Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls area is renowned for being the Adventure Capital of Africa offering a variety of high adrenaline sports.
